SKIING
Estación Sierra Nevada, is one of the best equipped in all of Spain and the southernmost ski resort in Europe, and has numerous modern hotels. Its 45 marked runs add up to a total of 62 kilometers and are classified according to difficulty. There are 20 ski lifts, 266 artificial snow machines, and also a long-distance trail. Minimum altitude is 2.100 meters and maximum is 3.300 meters.

CYCLING
Mountain biking and cycling are viewed as both serious sports and a relaxing pastime in Granada. It is not unusual to be overtaken by a groups of lycra clad cyclists attempting the steeping mountain inclines, particularly at weekends.
