Spanish + History, Art or Literature in Granada & Guanajuato

The Course

The Art, History & Literature course is for students who are willing to broaden their knowledge on the historical and cultural aspects of Spain and Latin America. It is taught entirely in Spanish by university graduate, native Spanish-speaking professors who possess deep understanding in the history, art and literature fields.

The course consists of 2 hours of daily Intensive Spanish and 2 hours of daily specialization history, art or literature classes. Specialization classes will focus on past historical events, important literary generations and their particular works, or art which are fundamental in providing the student a deep understanding of Spain and Latin America.

don Quijote offers these courses in 2 destinations:

  • don Quijote Granada. The course will reveal the reality of nowadays Spanish society by focusing on a series of important historical, artistic or literary facts. The meticulousness of the different units will strengthen the students’ Spanish abilities by enhancing listening comprehension and vocabulary.
  • don Quijote Guanajuato. The goal of this course is to improve the level of the Spanish language and learn the different cultural aspects of Latin America, particularly, those of Mexico. This course presents a profound analysis of the historical, literary, political and social aspects that are essential to understand the richness of Latin America.
